We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CDP Web Data Engineer to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights within our Customer Data Platform (CDP).
Responsibilities
- Web Data Integration: Collaborate with implementation teams to design XDM experience event schemas for data ingestion from web and mobile, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency.
- WebSDK/Mobile SDK data streams: Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end data streams to load data from Web and Mobile sources into the CDP.
- Data Quality Assurance: Develop and implement data quality checks, validation rules, and supervising mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and integrity within the CDP.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data architect, data analysts, data scientists, and business partners to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Data Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations provided by internal compliance teams and company policies throughout the data lifecycle.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor data pipeline performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address issues to ensure optimal data flow.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive user documentation for data pipelines, processes, and configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
- Innovation: Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, contributing innovative ideas to enhance data engineering practices and CDP capabilities.

What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Demonstrable experience of web analytics implementations, consent management tools, and tag management systems is a must-have.
- Prior experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on data integration, ETL processes, and data transformation is a plus.
- Familiarity with web data platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch) and their services.
- Solid understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance standard methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to solve technical issues effectively.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical partners.
