Systems Administrator Remote Job

Hybrid Position-Hybrid (minimum 3 days in office).

Key Responsibilities:

• Administration and Maintenance: Responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of our WebLogic, Tuxedo, Tomcat, and Apache server environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Ansible, Shell Scripting, and Python to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring tasks.
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and manage Jenkins pipelines to automate application deployment and integration processes.
• Database Management: Utilize SQL expertise to manage and optimize databases, perform backups, and troubleshoot database-related issues.
• Server and Infrastructure Management: Ensure the stability and security of Windows Server environments and assist with basic server administration tasks.
• Incident Management: Collaborate with the ITIL team to handle incidents, investigate root causes, and implement preventive measures.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in administering WebLogic, Tuxedo, Tomcat, and Apache servers.
• Proficiency in Jenkins, Ansible, Shell Scripting, SQL, and Python scripting.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server administration.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache, or related technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of network protocols and security practices
